About the Story

While Erin was staying at her grandparents’ farm in Swaledale, North Yorkshire, her grandad asked Old Tom, the local odd-job man, to build a scarecrow. Old Tom was working in the field, making the scarecrow, when suddenly the weather changed, with lightning flashing everywhere.
